Summary:
The Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget for the IT Department includes $124,135.00 to renew the Microsoft Enterprise Services Agreement (MESA) with Software One. Due to added licensing, the total cost to renew the agreement is $145,662.69. MESA provides continuous license compliance to install and use Microsoft desktop, server, and server management tools, software systems and applications. To fully fund the renewal agreement, a budget amendment for the IT department in the amount of $22,000.00 is requested ($22,000.00 - Account No. 010-200-42780, Software Microsoft). The additional appropriation would be funded by the unassigned fund balance of the General Fund.
