Discussion of issues related to potential signage on outfield fences at City facilities.

Summary:
In recent months, the City of Deer Park has received a large number of requests to advertise at City facilities. The recent requests are from businesses that would like to hang banners on the fences of athletic complexes. In the past, the City has not allowed such advertising. However, the City does allow sports organizations to hang banners and signage for its sponsorship partners at other sports facilities.
In an effort to have an equitable solution, staff is bringing forth a discussion to City Council to include but is not limited to:
- Potential revenue generation; AND
- Freedom of speech considerations.
