Summary:
The Aerial Ladder Truck will replace the existing Tower 3 truck which is 20 years old.
The lead-time is 48 months from the date of order. Estimated delivery is by second quarter of 2028.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Assigned Fund Balance of the General Fund in the amount of $2,486,768. Lease/purchase financing to be budgeted in a later fiscal year.
Recommended action
Authorize the purchase via Letter of Intent to purchase a 2028 Pierce Custom Velocity, Platform 100” Aerial Ladder Truck through HGAC Contract #FS12-23
