Summary:
On March 19, 2024, City Council approved purchasing, through the Buy Board, the services of Fuquay, Inc. to rehabilitate the Green Valley Lift Station. The Water/Sewer Maintenance Division budgeted $100,000 to clean sludge and debris from this larger lift stations. Doing so, helps maintain the operation of the lift station as well as prevents foul odors.
The contract price, and final completed cost, for this work was $88,860.00.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
$100,000 was budgeted in the Water & Sewer Maintenance account #400-501-49130 for this project.
Recommended action
Accept completion of this project and release retainage currently being held.
