Summary:
The City of Deer Park was approached by Ivy Oaks Homeowners’ Association (HOA) regarding a donation of their park to the City. The parks and recreation department has evaluated the park land and feel the acquisition would be an asset to the City.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Funds for maintenance of the park will be allocated in the General Fund Parks and Recreation department.
Recommended action
Accept the donation and approve the acquisition of the park from Ivy Oaks HOA
