Summary:
The City of Deer Park is beaming with holiday cheer after the Tree Lighting Spectacular at Patrick's Cabin Christmas Town achieved a remarkable feat at the 2024 Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) Awards. Our spectacular event secured a coveted "Award of Excellence," which translates to an impressive second-place finish in the highly competitive Best Recurring Special Event category. This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy for two reasons. Firstly, it marks Deer Park's debut on the TAMIO winner's stage, a testament to the event's growing recognition and impact.
