Consideration of and action on authorizing Noble Texas Builders to perform the rehabilitation of the Water Plant Laboratory using BuyBoard Contract 728-24.

Summary:
In the FY23-24 budget, money was designated for the renovation of the laboratory at the Surface Water Treatment Plant as well as for the painting of the interior of the building. BuyBoard Job Order Contracting was utilized to identify a potential BuyBoard contract holder. Through this BuyBoard program, Noble Texas Builders was contacted and the scope of work was discussed in detail. A proposal was provided using the BuyBoard Contract 728-24 and includes both the renovation and the interior painting of the facility.
Noble Texas Builders proposed $172,795.00 to renovate and paint the interior of the water plant. This price includes cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, and layout changes per their proposal. It also includes painting and the replacement of some ceiling tiles and tie rods where they are stained or the ties are rusting out. This is the first project that we used the BuyBoard Job Order Contracting.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
$149,000 was budgeted in 400-503-4902 and 400-503-4404. The additional funds will come from within the 400-503 budget.

Authorize Noble Texas Builders to perform the rehabilitation using BuyBoard Contract 728-24.
