Summary:
AT&T is currently in the process of eliminating the support for copper phone lines, and Granite Government Solutions provides more current technology at a lower cost than AT&T’s replacement solution.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
This 3-year agreement replaces lines currently provided by AT&T that are becoming obsolete due to the end of support for copper telephone service. A significant cost savings is expected once all identified lines have been converted to Granite. Granite Government Solutions participates in OMNIA Partners Pricing, Contract R200901.
Recommended action
Approve entering into agreement.
