Summary:
The City of Deer Park has begun working with Harris County Flood Control District to develop the scope of the project and develop an interlocal agreement that would allow the construction of the Spencerview Bridge. The proposed bridge will span from the Glenwood Park eastward to Spencerview Athletic Complex. The City of Deer Park has already purchased a small section of land from Cenikor that would allow the city to meet the maintenance easement requirements stipulated by Harris County Flood Control. Harris County Flood Control District has now provided the city with the a drafted interlocal agreement for consideration and action from Deer Park City Council.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
N/A at this time; the construction of the Spencerview Bridge will be funded utilizing Community Development Corporation funds.

Approve the authorization to enter into an interlocal agreement with Harris County Flood Control District for construction, maintenance, and repairs from the City of Deer Park for Spencerview bridge access.
