Consideration of and action on an ordinance amending City Ordinance 4593 on short term rental regulations.

Ordinance 4593 passed on January 18, 2025 needs to be amended to include several items that were inadvertently not included in the original ordinance.
Items changed are:
3. Section 22-402 - Short Term Rental Permit Application
Amended number 8 - regarding hazard insurance policy and
Added number 9 - floorplan copy.
Amended (c) - permit expiration date of one year after issuance
5. Section 22-404 - Restrictions on Short-Term Rentals
Under section (e) - Posting of Permit
Amended (f) Twenty-Four (24) hour available contact person section - added Code Enforcement Officer or Fire Marshall to listing of those who are called to respond to a complaint.
6. Section 22-405 - Permit denial or revocation
Removed section (c) under Appeals.
Section 2: Adding Section 22-406 to Appendix “B”
Added ( c) Permit Fee of $200 and follow-up inspection is also $200.
