Summary:
We have experienced major sanitary sewer force main issues on Havana Street at Kingsdale Drive. The necessary repairs involve 105-linear feet of pipe bursting and 20-liner feet of open cut sanitary sewer replacement, at a total cost of $73,360.00.
This is an unexpected, emergency repair with no budgeted funds. The Water & Sewer Maintenance Department has $100,000 in contingency funds available for unforeseen issues available to fund the services of Vortex, through The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) contract #20110401 for this repair.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
$73,360.00 in contingency funds currently budgeted in 400-501-4510.
