Summary:
The playground and workout equipment at East Meadows Park suffered significant damage as a result of the pipeline fire that occurred on in the fall of 2024. In addition, the spaces safety surfacing and boarders around the equipment was also destroyed due the fire. The Parks and Recreation Department has been working with Cunningham Recreation to develop a replacement playground and workout equipment for the park.
The attached proposal is for a workout station, an ages 5-12 playground, orchard climber, installation, boarders, safety surfacing, and freight. The cost for this project is $120,286.80.
Attached to this item is a copy of the proposal.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
$120,286.80 to be utilized in the Park Operations Budget and reimbursed by Energy Transfer.
