Summary:
The HVAC system at the transfer station is decades old and has reached the end of its useful service life. Over the years, the system has required numerous repairs and temporary fixes to remain operational. Despite these efforts, the equipment has become increasingly unreliable and is no longer cost-effective to maintain.
The city has obtained a quote from Texas Air Systems through TIPS Contract #09-408-2856 in the amount of $52,000 for a complete replacement of the HVAC system.
