Consideration of and action on an ordinance re-appointing three members to the Library Board of Trustees for a term ending December 31, 2028 and appointing one member to replace departing member for term ending December 31, 2028.

Summary:
The new two-year term will be January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2028. Patricia Adams has stated she does not wish to renew so her position was posted for applicants. Applicants were received and the Boards Selection Committee conducted interviews on Oct 20, 2026, and Nov 3, 2026, and then held an Executive Session with Council on their selection on the Nov. 3, 2026.
The attached ordinance does not have a name listed as that will come from the Executive Session and will be added to the ordinance by City Attorney Jim Fox prior to reading the caption.
The three re-appointments are current incumbents who wished to continue on the board - Daniel Kramer, Rebecca Schroeder & Brenda Spenser.

Motion to approve three re-appointments (Kramer, Schroeder & Spenser) and one new appointment recommended by the Board Selection Committee, by ordinance to the Library Board of Trustees for a two-year term from January 1, 2027 - December 31, 2028.
