Summary:
With the opening of the new Jimmy Burke Activity Center, the City of Deer Park Parks and Recreation department is requesting to purchase furniture for a number of new spaces, including but not limited to, various offices, event rooms, lobbies, museum area, and plaza. The Department has been working with local Houston vendor Inside Evolutions and KI Furniture to assist in outfitting the facility with appropriate furniture for use. The Department is now ready to request purchase of the furniture in order to have it ready and installed in time for the facility opening.
The purchase price of the furniture including freight and install is $936,412.52.
The attached to this item is a copy of the final proposal and conceptual designs of the furniture.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Funds for FFE are available in the owners contingency for the Jimmy Burke Activity Center Project.
