Summary:
The current term for members of the Board of Health expires on May 31, 2026. Chapter 5.10 of the Charter and Section 50-46 of the Code of Ordinances specifies membership for the Board of Health as a qualified physician licensed to practice medicine in the State, who shall serve as the Chairperson, the City Manager and Engineer.
Therefore, the ordinance being brought before City Council will re-appoint Dr. Donald Metz, Dr. Andrew Metz, James Stokes, and Dilcia Jimenez as the City Engineer for a term June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2028.
