Summary:
We have chosen Freese and Nichols to perform a SSES for the City of Deer Park’s sanitary sewer system. The evaluation will use flow monitoring devices to evaluate the infiltration and inflow into our system during rain events. F&N will collect data over time to identify projects that get the best results and most cost-effective project.
The project will include project management, flow monitoring, programmatic SSES recommendations, Technical Memorandum and Meeting with Council and special Services.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
This evaluation is not to exceed $324,430.00, and will be funded out the Water/Sewer fund (account number 400-500-42410).
Recommended action
Approve entering into an agreement with Freese and Nichols to perform a Sanitary Sewer Evaluation.
