Summary:
The 1,000 block of Georgia Avenue, which is north of 13th Street, has experienced a pavement failure with a large gapping crack running length wise. This area was filled in with asphalt, as a temporary fix, however a large portion of concrete pavement needs to be completely removed and replaced. In total, this would mean removing and replacing 3,905 square feet of concrete pavement.
SKE Construction has provided a quote, through their TIPS contract # 26010402 in the amount of $182,425.00. Although this is not a budgeted item, there are street bond funds remaining in Series 2022 General Obligation Bond (fund 310), to cover this improvement.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Street improvement funds are available in Series 2022 GO bond (fund 310) for this improvement.

Approve purchasing the services of SKE Construction for the street improvements on Georgia Avenue via TIPS contract # 26010402.
