Summary:
In 2023 the City started an annual manhole rehabilitation program. This current year we have budgeted funds to rehabilitate ten (10) manholes. Public Works staff has selected Branch Construction Group to perform the rehabilitation work. The scope of work includes cleaning and surface preparation, leak stoppage and patching, installation of protective coating, and all associated demobilization and closeout activities.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
This Rehabilitation project is funded through 400-501-44100 with an approved budget of $105,000. Branch Construction Group has submitted a proposal totaling $90,310.
Recommended action
Approve the purchase of service from Branch Construction Group, via TIPS contract number-23010401, for the annual rehabilitation of ten (10) sanitary manholes.
