Consideration of and action on an agreement with Next Level Urgent Care (NLUC, PLLC).

Summary:
During City Council Workshop September 3, 2024, the City Manager and Senior HR Business Partner spoke about the benefits of adding Next Level Urgent Care for insured employees to use 7 days a week, eliminating the need to use emergency care facilities for non-urgent matters. It was discussed that having this as an option would help reduce our overall loss ratio keeping insurance rates low.
Attached is the agreement with NLUC, as a result of that discussion, for Council’s approval.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
The City has unutilized credits from TX Health Benefits Pool (TXHB; formerly TML Health) accumulated from previous years. These funds are available for this purpose.
Recommended action
Authorize the agreement with Next Level Urgent Care (NLUC, PLLC).
