Summary:
For Budget year 2025-26, five (5) Chevrolet Tahoe PPV vehicles were approved for purchase with an estimated cost of $320,849.00. For Budget year 2025-2026, outfitting five (5) Tahoe PPV were approved with an estimated cost of $128,700.00. This cost estimate included a built addition of 10% to account of inflation and potential cost increases. Budget was approved for 5 patrol vehicles, but with the status of the fleet it was determined best course of action was to purchase 3 patrol vehicles and 2 administrative Silverado.

Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
At this time, cost estimates for two (2) Chevrolet Silverado SSV Administrative Trucks is $98,097.34, which is $62,140.66 under the budgeted amount for the purchase of the original five (5) PPV Tahoe. The cost to outfit the two (2) LS Administrative Tahoe is 25,598.64 which is $27,881.40 under the budgeted amount. The total amount under budget is $90,022.06.
Recommended action:
Approve the purchase of two (2) 2026 Chevrolet Silverado SSV Administrative Trucks from Parkway Chevrolet through Parkway Chevrolet Fleet ((via Buy Board contract number 724-23), CCPD Funded), and outfitting the two (2) Administrative Trucks through Parkway Chevrolet Fleet (CCPD Funded).
