Summary:
Kimley Horn will perform a topographic survey, preliminary design, final design, submittals, project coordination, permitting, bid phase services and construction phase services. The Coy well is used for emergency services and will supply water for the City in the event the water plant is down or in the case we need more capacity for the system. The previous well at the Coy Water Plant was plugged in 2024 due to complete failure. Repairing the previous well was not cost effective. This is agreement is for design and we will drill the well in the FY 2026-27 budget.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
The cost of the services will be $225,580.00, funded from the Surface Water Plant budget account no. 400-503-49410.
