Summary: 

This matter will be discussed in Workshop on Tuesday night, with Ms. Margaret Somereve, Executive Director of Texas Coalition for Affordable Power, also known as TCAP. She will be providing details on the benefits of membership in this organization.  TCAP is an alliance of cities and other political subdivisions that have joined together to purchase electricity for their own government use.  TCAP is comprised of more than 160 cities and other political subdivisions. TCAP negotiates terms and conditions for electric service on behalf of its members at wholesales prices.
