Summary:
Commissioner Elizabeth Delgado has been an alternate for the past year, with the retirement of Commissioner Don Tippitt, that created an opening for a full member position. Ms. Delgado was asked if she would like to move up, she stated affirmatively. The Boards and Commission Group gave their recommendation to City Council and they approved the ordinance appointing Ms. Delgado effective June 1, 2026 as a full member of BOA and P&Z.
With this transition occurring, the alternate position was posted, applications were received and the Boards and Commissions Group gave their recommendation to City Council and they approved the ordinance appointing Gracie Serrano as an Alternate Commissioner for BOA to complete the unexpired term of Ms. Delgado (expiring May 2027).
Oaths were completed prior to the meeting for the new members.
