Summary:
The Wastewater Treatment Plant budgeted $150,000 to replace three (3) roofs at the facility. Those roofs included the belt press building, the storage building and the maintenance shop building. At meeting with Brown & Root tot discuss the roofs, the process of making improvements to our MCC facility was also discussed, as was that potential roof replacement. It was quoted at a cost of $160,857 to replace all 4 roofs at the facility. This is $10,857 over the budgeted amount; however, there are savings in other areas of to cover this additional cost.
This purchase would be made through Brown & Root’s Choice Partners contract #21/039MR-03.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Funds are budgeted in the Wastewater Treatment Plant’s budget or building maintenance (400-502-44040).
