Summary:
The Boards and Commission Selection Committee approve the renewal of one Parks & Rec member (Scott Combs) whose term expires on May 31, 2026. This member does wish to renew his appointment so no new application was needed per the new policy.
One member, Eric Ripley, whose term is up is stepping off the board due to being elected to a council position. This position was posted, applications were received and interviews were conducted. The Boards and Commission Selection Committee’s recommendation of Rob Henson will be discussed during Executive Session at the Council Workshop to be held on May 5, 2026. This position will serve a full term as Mr. Ripley’s term was up in May originally.
