Discussion of issues related to the selling of obsolete street signs.

Summary:
The City is currently in the process of executing a multi-year beautification initiative to update all street signs throughout the City. In doing so, there has been a significant amount of interest from the public to obtain the obsolete street signs.
Staff has prepared an inventory of all obsolete signs currently in possession. There are 215 signs total:
• 103 obsolete blue street signs
• 112 obsolete maroon street signs (reprinted due to font size)
Based on the public interest, Staff is recommending the signs be available for sale to the public, first come first serve, at the following rates:
• $50.00 each per blue street sign
• $75.00 each per maroon street sign
Staff will discuss options and next steps with City Council seeking further direction.
