Consideration of and action on entering into a two-year agreement for AT&T Internet services from Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) using DIR contract # DIR-Tele-CTSA-002.

 

Body

Summary:

AT&T provides our current Internet Service.  This agreement would be with DIR for upgraded services provided by AT&T. The upgraded service will increase the City’s bandwidth considerably, while saving the City approximately $3,800 per year in fees.

 

Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:

The agreement renewal calls for monthly payments for a two-year period.  These funds are currently budgeted in and come from account 010-105-42150.  This agreement is covered under DIR Contract # DIR-Tele-CTSA-002.

 

Recommended action

Approve the two-year agreement for AT&T Internet services using DIR contract # DIR-Tele-CTSA-002.
