Consideration of and action on accepting completion of the 2025 Concrete Maintenance Project.

Summary:
On January 22, 2025 City Council approved entering into an agreement with SKE Construction for the 2025 Concrete Maintenance Project. The purchase of services was provided through Buy Board contract #660-21.
The original contract amount was $250,000.00. However, a change order had to be issued as one area of concrete replacement ended up being 10-inch-thick concrete rather than the quoted 8-inch-thick. The final construction cost was $272,269.50.
All workorders for concrete replacement have been completed and we are now ready for Council to accept completion of the project, and approve release of $27,226.95 being held in retainage.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
This was a budgeted project funded out of the Water & Sewer Maintenance funds.
Recommended action
Accept completion of the 2025 Concrete Maintenance Project and approve releasing retainage.
