Summary: During Fiscal Year 2015-2016, it became necessary to replace a cracked windshield on the Fire Marshal’s truck. This unexpected cost was not anticipated in the budget and has resulted in an unfunded variance for the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 Budget. A budget amendment in the amount of $220.00 is necessary to cover the cost of this vehicle maintenance and will be funded by the unassigned fund balance of the General Fund, which is available for this purpose.

Include $220.00 in the General Fund (Account No. 10-307-4401, Vehicle Maintenance) to be funded by the unassigned fund balance of the General Fund, which is available for this purpose.
