Summary:
The Public Works Fleet Division budgeted funds to replace a 17-year-old flush-mounted scissor lift at the shop. The control panel has obsolete technology that is no longer supported. The control panel is beginning to malfunction and when it does, the whole system is inoperable. This is a critical piece of equipment for repairs to heavy duty vehicles.
Ari-Hectra has provided us with a quote of $109,707.00 for a new system. This purchase would be made via their HGACbuy contract number FL 10-24A.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
A total of $112,000 was budgeted in the Asset Replacement fund for this purchase. (091-404-49040).
