Summary:
Elizabeth Delgado is an alternate member on the Board of Adjustments. Her position is now available because she has been selected to a full member position to replace Don Tippit (effective 6/1/26). The alternate member position was posted and applications were received. Interviews were conducted by the Boards & Commission Board. The Board’s recommendation to Council is Gracie Serrano. This recommendation will be discussed during Executive Session at the Council Workshop held on May 5, 2026.
The Board of Adjustment position is for the remainder of the unexpired term for Ms. Delgado which is June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027.

Recommended action
Approve the ordinance to appoint a person as Board of Adjustment alternate member to serve the remaining term which will end on May 31, 2027.
