Recognition of Councilman Ron Martin as Departing City Council Member.

Summary:
Ron Martin was elected to Position 5 of the Deer Park City Council in May 2014. He was re-elected to an additional five (5) consecutive terms, allowing him to serve on Deer Park City Council for a total of 12 years. Councilman Martin held a number of committee and board positions throughout his tenure of service, including serving as a Commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission/Board of Adjustment prior to joining City Council. Councilman Martin announced in early 2026 that he would not seek a seventh term of office, and would depart the City Council on May 5, 2026.
At this time, we will recognize Councilman Martin and thank him for his dedicated service to the City. Many of his family and friends are expected to join us on Tuesday evening for this event.
