Summary:
This Phase 1 - GMP agreement, for the new Jimmy Burke Activity Center, will allow Roger’s O’Brien to start the procurement of the HVAC and Electrical Equipment. These items have a long lead time and rather than delaying the construction schedule, the equipment can be ordered now.
Phase 1 includes:
• HVAC Long Lead Equipment
• Electrical Long Lead Equipment
• General Conditions
• General Requirements
Phase 1 is based on:
• 90% Equipment Package Drawings by Brown Reynolds Waterford (BRW) Architects, Inc.
• 90% Equipment Package Specifications by BRW
• Addendum No. 1, by BRW, issued on June 10, 2024
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
The cost of the Phase 1 GMP agreement is $2,366,500.00. Project funded by Series 2022 General Obligation Bond Funds.
Recommended action
Approve the GMP-Phase 1 Agreement for the new Jimmy Burke Activity Center.
