Discussion of issues relating to restricting public access to the pedestrian bridge that connects the Deer Meadows Section 3 Subdivision to Deer Park High South Campus.

Summary:
On March 3, 2020, City Council held a Public Hearing on this matter. Residents spoke both in favor of, and in opposition to, restricting public access to the pedestrian bridge. On Tuesday evening Council have an opportunity to discuss this further with each other and City staff. Additionally, a vote on this issue is scheduled to take place during the Council Meeting later that evening.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
If access is to be denied, funds will need to be allocated to establish fencing to remove access to the bridge.
