Summary:
The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) has budgeted funds for concrete improvements at the plant. This includes, concrete pads and additional walkways for better access to equipment and machinery. Earlier this fiscal year, the city purchased the services of SKE Construction for this concrete work and that work has been completed, however there are still several locations around the plant that would benefit from additional concrete. We requested an estimate from SKE for the proposed additional work, and that cost is $58,329.00.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
The WWTP’s operational budget has available funds to cover this additional work.
Recommended action
Approve purchasing the services of SKE Construction to perform the additional concrete work at the Wastewater Treatment Plant via TIPS contract #26010402.
