Summary:
The Deer Park Parks and Recreation Department has been working with the architect and construction manager at risk on the construction of the DAC. As progress continues, City staff has begun working on developing the operations and logistics of staffing the facility. City staff has put together a business plan for the DAC and has presented this information to Parks and Recreation Commission, Community Development Corporation, and Deer Park City Council.
Deer Park Parks and Recreation staff is now ready to proceed forward with the business plan to begin establishing a new budget, adding fees to the schedule B ordinance, creation of new positions, and other items related to the opening of the Dow Active Complex.
Attached to this document is a copy of the business plan presentation.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Fees will be added to the Parks and Recreation Department Schedule B at a later date.

Recommendation is to approve the acceptance of Dow Active Complex (the DAC) business plan.
