Summary:
The City's Financial Management Policy was last reviewed and updated on September 19, 2023. The Financial Management Policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary. At this time, one minor change is being recommended for the existing policy. Section X, Item C - Grant Review and Approval was rewritten to authorize the City Manager the authority to approve or reject grant applications less than $25,000. The original text required all grant applications be approved or rejected by City Council. This revision has been included in the Financial Management Policy, and the updated policy is agenda item for Council’s consideration for the September 17, 2024 Council Meeting.
