The Parks and Recreation Department successfully completed the required standards for national accreditation through the National Parks and Recreation Association. The CAPRA accreditation process consists of peer verification of compliance with standards that evaluate the department’s ability to deliver high quality programs, facilities, and customer service. This accreditation is one of the highest marks a department can receive from NRPA and is good for five (5) years.
