Summary:
This current fiscal year the Public Works Dept. budgeted funds to replace the existing 3,952 linear feet of fencing around the Surface Water Treatment Plant, this purchase also includes installation of a 30-foot motion gate and gate operator.
The total cost for this work is $240,116.00 and includes mobilization, demo and haul off of existing fence, as well as maintaining security at the plant throughout the fence replacement. This work will be performed by Foster Fence, utilizing their Buy Board contract #757-24.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
A total of $260,000 was budgeted for fence replacements in the water treatment plant’s budget (400-503-49030).
Recommended action
Authorize purchasing the services of Foster Fence to replace the fencing at the Surface Water Treatment Plant.
