Summary:
This is the annual bunker gear replacement program and is a budgeted expenditure. The bunker gear being replaced is nearing manufacturer’s expiration date and will be taken out of service.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
The purchase of $57,820.00 is within the approved FY24-25 Budget of the Fire Control Prevention and Emergency Medical Services District of $80,000.
Recommended action
Approve the purchase of sixteen (16) sets of firefighting bunker gear from Metro Fire on Buy Board Contract #698-23 in the amount of $57,820.00.
