For Budget year 2025-26, two (2) Chevrolet Silverado 1500 DOT Trucks were approved for purchase with an estimated cost of $122,892.00. For Budget year 2025-2026, outfitting two (2) DOT trucks were approved with an estimated cost of $47,740.00. This cost estimate included a built addition of 10% to account of inflation and potential cost increases.

At this time, cost estimates for two (2) Chevrolet Silverado 1500 DOT Truck is $90,970.00, which is $31,922.00 under the budgeted amount for the purchase of the vehicles alone. The cost to outfit the two DOT Trucks is 31,265.80 which is $16,474.20 under the budgeted amount. The total amount under budget is $48,396.20.
For budget year 2025-26 the approved cost for outfitting the approved two (2) Police Silverado 1500 DOT Trucks is $122,892.00. Outfitting consists of consoles, vaults, lights, sirens and graphics budgeted is $47,740.00.
Recommended action:
Approve the purchase of two (2) 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 DOT Truck Parkway Chevrolet through Parkway Chevrolet Fleet (Buy Board, CCPD Funded). Approve the purchase of outfitting the two (2) DOT trucks through Parkway Chevrolet Fleet (CCPD Funded).
