Summary:
Phase 1 GMP amendment for the Community and Recreation Center will consist of the Phase 1 demolition of the Community Center and associated paving to facilitate a structural evaluation of the existing condition under the slab of the Community Center. New paving is also included in this amendment in order to increase the parking area. This will allow additional parking to compensate for the capacity that will be lost during construction. The cost of the Phase 1 GMP amendment is $3,974,531.00. In addition, the City will be awarding the alternate bid for the demolition of the pool house at a cost of $137,614.00. The demo of the pool house will commence after the swim season has ended. This is the first phase of the overall two-phase construction of the Community and Recreation Center.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Project funded by dedicated Type B sales and use tax.
