Summary:
At the regularly scheduled October 7, 2025 City Council Meeting, City Council approved the 2026 agreement with Next Level to be reflective of a cost of Sixty-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($62.50) per employee per month.
Texas Health Benefits (TXHB) reached an agreement with Next Level to not include a 6% escalator at the time of renewal which was January 2026; therefore, the annual 2026 contract was amended to reflect Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per employee per month (PEMP), as opposed to Sixty-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($62.50) per employee per month.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Funds are budgeted and available in the General Fund.

Ratify City Manager’s approval of the Next Level membership for 2026.
