Summary:
With the opening of the new Jimmy Burke Activity Center, the City of Deer Park Parks and Recreation department has requested and approved the purchase of furniture for a number of new spaces, including but not limited to, various offices, event rooms, lobbies, museum area, and plaza. The Department has worked with local Houston vendor Inside Evolutions and KI Furniture to assist in outfitting the facility with appropriate furniture for use.
The Department is now requesting the purchase of installation services for the furniture in order to have it ready and installed for facility opening.
The purchase price of the installation services is $76,500. Attached to this item is a copy of the final proposal for installation.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
Funds for FFE are available in the owner’s contingency for the Jimmy Burke Activity Center Project.
