Consideration of and action on an ordinance ratifying the declaration of disaster issued by the Mayor dated March 13, 2020 for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Summary: 

Based on the threat that the citizens of the City of Deer Park could be facing because of the spread of a pandemic flu outbreak or other health emergency resulting from COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), on March 13, 2020 Mayor Mouton issued a Declaration of Disaster. This declaration is good for seven (7) day unless extended or ratified by the City Council.
