Summary: 

Public Works budgeted $200,000 to replace two existing pumps.  One is a 90hp pump for the Green Valley Lift Station and the other is for a 110hp pump at the 13th Street Lift Station. 

Hahn Equipment Co., Inc. is a sole source vendor for the make and model Flygt pumps.  The 90hp pump is quoted at $89,880.00 and the 110hp is quoted at $92,695.00, for a total cost of $182,575.00.

Attached you will find the sole source letter along with the quotes.

 

Fiscal/Budgetary Impact: 

A total of $200,000 was budgeted in account 400-501-49040 to cover this expense.

Approve the purchase and installation of the two pumps from Hahn Equipment Co.
