Summary:
Last Fall, the City became a member of the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP). BAHEP provides economic development services to Deer Park, in very similar manner to the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region. It is proposed we renew our BAHEP membership for an additional one (1) year period. The annual cost is $15,000.00. A copy of BAHEP’s membership contract is attached.
Fiscal/Budgetary Impact:
$15,000.00 is budgeted in the General Fund and is available for this purpose.
