Recognition of service by FCPEMSD Board Members: Charlie Johnson and Joe Reynolds.

Summary:
Mr. Johnson was appointed to the FCPEMSD board in 2015 by City Council Ordinance No. 3616. He has served on the board since that time. In July 2026, Mr. Johnson submitted his resignation as a board member. He was Mayor Mouton’s appointee. Mr. Johnson served as president multiple terms and did a great job. The ordinance to remove him and replace him with another member occurred at the August 2026 council meeting.
Mr. Reynolds was appointed to the FCPEMSD board 2021 by City Council Ordinance No. 4124. He has served on the board since that time. In July 2026, Mr. Reynolds submitted his resignation as a board member. He was Sherry Garrison’s appointee. Mr. Reynolds served several terms as vice president. The ordinance to remove him and replace him with another member occurred at the August 2026 council meeting
It has been an honor to have both of these fine men serving the citizens of Deer Park on this board and we wish them both the best in the future. An appreciation plaque will be presented to each.
