 PUBLIC HEARING 6:10 p.m. - Mr. Dirhu Patel and the Patel Family Living Trust are requesting a one Hundred eighty eight (188) foot variance to the distance between a residential lot line and an apartment hotel to be constructed at 825 Center Street.

Summary:  The property is zoned Multi Family 2 (MF2).  Section 12.01.7 of the Zoning Ordinance, Use Group 7 allows for an apartment hotel to be constructed on the property.  Section 4.09.3 of the Zoning Ordinance requires a three hundred (300) foot transitional zone which is contiguous with a Single Family District when the principal structure in a MF2 District is more than one (1) story in height.  A variance is required to construct the apartment hotel more than one (1) story in height.
